New Print : ‘The Clearest Way into the Universe Is Through a Forest’

This design has been around in some form for a few years, first as a screen print (which at the time I didn’t have the skill to make, resulting in an edition of 2 instead of 50) and more recently as a painting.

The idea of making new pieces is so exciting and I rarely re-work pictures, but I wanted to revisit this one - redrawing the tree which folds back on itself, and replacing a range of small humans that were distributed through the picture with two larger ones.

The title is an adapted quote from naturalist John Muir : ‘The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.’
