Searcys 170th

Founded in 1847 by John Searcy, the pastry chef to the Duke of Northumberland, Searcys began as a luxury catering service. In the 1970s, Searcys took their talented staff, ingredients and drinks and began to open bars and restaurants in key locations. In 2017, Searcys has grown to operate a collection of venues that include restaurants, bars, cafés, and event spaces across the UK, including The Gherkin, Blenheim Palace and St Pancras International Station. This set of illustrations celebrates the long history of Searcys as part of their 170th birthday festivities.
